Richard Siddle is an award-winning business editor with over 25 years experience working across a number of fields including computing, supermarkets, grocery, FMCG, convenience and independent retailing and travel.

He has launched The Buyer for the UK Premium On-Trade, and was previously editor of Harpers Wine & Spirit where he was widely recognised for having turned one of the UK’s oldest publications into an agenda setting, must read for the drinks industry.

Throughout his career Richard has built a reputation for campaigning journalism that gets to the heart of the business issues that really matter to his readers. Richard has a strong track record of creating content that helps his readers do their jobs more effectively and better understand the opportunities for their businesses and the communities they serve.

Amanda Barnes
Amanda Barnes is an award-winning wine writer, journalist and online communicator. A specialist in South American wine, Amanda is a frequent wine judge and correspondent for the region contributing to travel and wine publications including Decanter, Fodor's and The Drinks Business. In 2013 she published the first digital winery guide for Argentina, Chile and Uruguay, The Squeeze Magazine. Beyond South America, she is also the creator of Around the World in 80 Harvests, an ambitious global wine adventure in which she is visiting 42 countries and 80 wine regions across 5 continents and communicating what makes each one unique through videos, blogs and photography.

Felicity Carter
Felicity Carter is editor-in-chief of Meininger’s Wine Business International, the world’s only global, English language wine business magazine. Published in Germany, it has subscribers in more than 40 countries. A wine judge, Felicity has judged in Portugal, Germany, Bordeaux, Brussels and Georgia, and in 2015 formed part of the ‘empowerment of women in wine’ panel for Wines of Argentina. Felicity is a sought-after speaker at international wine events from ProWein to WineVision. Before taking her current position, she wrote for major Australian publications, including The Sydney Morning Herald. Prior to her journalism career, she was a senior copywriter in blue chip advertising agencies. She was the winner of the Editorial/Opinion category of the 2016 Born Digital Awards.

Marcelo Coppelo
Marcelo Copello is one of the most prominent opinion leaders of the wine industry in Brazil, with an outstanding international career. He was elected “the most influential wine journalist in Brazil” by the Meininger`s Wine Business International magazine. He was also elected twice “the most important wine personality in the country¨ by the Enoeventos, one of the leading Brazilian wine web-portals. Partner of the Rio Wine and Food Festival, the largest wine festival in Latin America, and of the Grande Prova Vinhos do Brasil (Wines of Brazil Great Tasting), the largest Brazilian wines competition. Publisher of BACO magazine and the Anuário Vinhos do Brasil (Wines of Brazil Yearbook). Author of six best-selling wine books, contributor to several wine publications in Brazil and abroad, a professor at various institutions, radio and TV host, winner of the Gourmand World Cookbook Award, juror in dozens of international wine competitions worldwide, such as International Wine Challenge, and one of the most requested speakers throughout Brazil. Copello is also one of the country's leading experts in wine business and the Brazilian market, giving lectures in Brazil and abroad events such as the London Wine Fair (London). W. Blake Gray
W. Blake Gray won the 2016 Born Digital Wine Award for Best Investigative/Journalistic Wine Story. In 2013 he won the Roederer Award for Best Blogger/Online Wine Writer. He is the California Editor for Wine Searcher and a columnist for Palate Press, and he publishes his own blog, The Gray Report.

Colin Hampden-White
Having decided Quantity Surveying was not for him, Colin entered the world of photograph and discovered his natural home. Working initially for the Scotsman, he moved to London to work for The Times and Financial Times. During this time, he explored his love of wine and whisky, culminating in his series: the Greatest Winemakers and Greatest Whisky makers, exhibited extensively in London and Manhattan, winning the Louis Roederer Award for Artistry along the way. Colin is represented by the Rebecca Hossack Gallery in London and New York. He began writing for LUX magazine and started his column for the Partner Magazine, Malts & Grapes. He joined the Circle of Wine Writers. Continuing to write for LUX, Colin became the inaugural Editor of Whisky quarterly magazine, an international publication concentrating on whisky, and including other spirits, wine and luxury living. Within the last year, Colin has won the Born Digital award for photography, become a Keeper of the Quaich and the Chairman of the Circle of Wine Writers.

Ulf Jansson
Ulf Jansson is a member of Munskänkarna, a Swedish organisation for wine lovers, and editor in chief of the member magazine Munskänken. The magazine reaches 26.000 members 8 times a year. He is also a regular contributor to the monthly newsletter and is a member of the tasting committee that reviews all new releases of wines in the state monopoly Systembolagets assortment. As a hobby, he also enjoys drawing comic strips about a wine nerd, Bengt Bouquet.

Ted Lelekas

Ted is a wine communicator based in Athens, Greece. His activities in the wine world cover a wide spectrum, including journalism, blogging, educating and consulting. He is a member of the editorial team of “Oenohoos”, Greece’s premier national wine magazine, he was the first Greek wine blogger, and he has been educating amateur and professional oenophiles since 2007.   In his 11-year career in wine, some of the most recent highlights include being named among “The top 20 wine influencers” in social media around the world, as well as getting elected Vice-President of the International Federation of Wine & Spirits Journalists and Writers (FIJEV) and, more recently, in the Committee of the Circle of Wine Writers.   Ted is an ambassador of the #winelover community; he travels extensively across the world to take part in wine events and conferences, as well as to judge in major wine competitions. His areas of professional focus include the wines of Greece, wine tourism, Champagne, as well as e-commerce in the wine & spirits sector.

Elin McCoy
Award-winning journalist Elin McCoy is the author of The Emperor of Wine: The Rise of Robert M. Parker, Jr. and the Reign of American Taste, which has garnered international praise. Foreign editions are available in Brazil, the U.K., Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and Russia. It won the World Gourmand Cookbook Award and was a finalist for James Beard and IACP wine book of the year.   She is the wine columnist for Bloomberg News, the New York columnist for Decanter magazine, and writes frequently for World of Fine Wine and other international publications.   Her own website and blog are at www.elinmccoy.com. In her long career, she has written widely for other national and international publications and has co-authored four other books on wine and gourmet topics. She is at work on two wine books, one set in Sonoma.   She serves regularly as wine competition judge in the U.S. and abroad and is a frequent keynote speaker and moderator on wine at industry events such as VinExpo, and the Hong Kong Wine and Spirits Trade Fair.

Carrie Patsalis

Carrie is a producer with 20 years experience in broadcast TV and digital video communications. She runs Mad Cat Media, a successful digital content company producing videos and animations. In the past, she has won an award at the Cannes Corporate Film Awards for her work. In addition, Carrie and Mad Cat Media have worked on numerous video projects associated with the EWBC and DWCC events.
